Derek Hill is remaking Halloween with local actors and a budget of only $500… so lets see what he can come up with!!
The 30-year-old is producing his reinterpretation of the film and using local actors.
In the past 15 years, the independent filmmaker has produced 22 films on a shoestring budget. His latest venture, his second filmed in the Valley, “Halloween: Vengeance” is being produced for $500.
Scheduled to shoot around Tulare County through the middle of November, Hill sat down with the Times-Delta/Advance-Register to discuss his vision, inspiration and return to Visalia.
