About a week and a half ago, the team behind Paranormal Whacktivity uploaded a bunch of photos to the film’s official Facebook page. Click here to become a fan and “follow” the film on Facebook. Being that HorrorSociety hasn’t covered Paranormal Whactivity yet, besides a small question in an interview with Chanel Ryan, I figured I’d summarize the project here and share the photos afterwards. Make sure to keep an eye out for Chanel Ryan getting her makeup done as the Bride of Dracula.
Paranormal Whacktivity is a horror-comedy that will probably share some characteristics with Paranormal Activity while hopefully mocking it at the same time. Please, don’t let it be the “comedy” that’s featured in the Scary Movie franchise… The film, produced by Hollywood Productions, is directed by Roger Roth and written by Geoffrey Plitt and Christopher Pentzell. Paranormal Whacktivity follows, “a couple who have just moved into a new home to consummate their relationship, but find peril around every corner due to an evil presence that haunts them whenever they attempt to be intimate.” It is set to star Aneliese Roettger, Stephanie Danielson, Jenna Bryant, Brianna Nicole, Chacko Vadaketh, and Jessica Ashley.
