Terror Comes to New England in Adam Green’s “Holliston”

This isn’t really “new” news because it’s been out there for a week or two, but we haven’t covered it yet at HorrorSociety. So, here we go!

Adam Green is working on a television series called Holliston, which will debut this Spring exclusively on FEARnet. Holliston is described as a horror sitcom that will consist of at least 6 episodes. Holliston, Massachusetts is actually the home town of the Hatchet director and he felt it would be the perfect setting for the series. IMDB describes the plot as, “Two down and out aspiring filmmakers struggle with life, career, and the opposite sex as they attempt to make it out of the small New England town they are trapped in and into the big time.”

It appears Adam will be writing, producing, directing and even acting in Holliston. The second “down and out aspiring filmmaker” will be none other than Wrong Turn 2 director Joe Lynch. Horror icon Bill Moseley, Nick Ballard (The Last Resort), Laura Ortiz (The Hills Have Eyes remake), Corri English (Unrest), and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider will also be heavily featured in the upcoming horror series. Apparently, Holliston is based on of Green’s first film titled Coffee + Donuts.
