Actor, writer, producer, and director CLINT HOWARD will be honored November19, 2011 with the MAN OF MANY FACES AWARD at the 5Th anniversary of the MOCKFEST Film Festival in Hollywood.
Guil Claveria: “We are honoring actor, producer, writer, and director Clint Howard for his impressive abilities to transform and become very different and distinct characters. Appearing in over 150 films and television shows proves that he is a man to be reckoned with. Never the lead but never the man left behind, keeps avid film viewers on their toes with what he’s going to dive into next.
This is the only award that is going to be given as a dual award. He is receiving the award from the MOCKFEST Film Festival and its sister festival, SHOCKFEST Film Festival. The award will be presented to Clint Howard before the 4:00 screening block at Raleigh Studio’s Charlie Chaplin Theater on November 19th.”
Festival director Guil Claveria describes MOCKFEST and SHOCKFEST as “The ultimate destination for freaks and comedians alike. We have no limits and really no restrictions. If you can dream it, write it, create it, and get in onto film, we want it! Both festivals have their strong points and we really try to focus on giving the filmmakers their proper outlets. After receiving the award (in his name) the CLINT HOWARD MAN OF MANY FACES AWARD will be presented annually at the MOCKFEST/SHOCKFEST Film Festivals.
We will also be honoring Eli Roth and DJ Qualls.
