Human Centipede 2 banned in Australia

maxresdefault

Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence is rustling some more feathers, or in this case, metaphorically pooping into more people’s mouths. Despite receiving a release several days ago in Australia, the certification of rating has been withdrawn and Human Centipede 2 is now abandoned in Australia. Australia joins England as the second country to ban this horror film. I’m sure more bannings will follow in the future. In Human Centipede 2, a maniac tries to recreate the events of the first film on an even bigger scale. He even goes as far as trapping an actor from the original film.

Although I am a horror fan, I am not a fan of torture porn. Thus I have not seen the first Human Centipede or its sequel. I read a plot summary on wikipedia and thought, “yeah, not for me.” Despite all the harsh criticism from the worldwide public, a third entry in the franchise has already been greenlit. The film released a small, midnight only screening in America; and has since been available On Demand by IFC.  Have any HorrorSociety fans seen it yet? Let me know what you think if you have seen it.

  1. I got a book leg copy of it from a friend and watched it. I liked the 1st one better. this one is a lot more gruesome in the fact that the "centipede" is "hand made" with whatever he could find around the house causing many trial and errors that could turn people's stomaches. Not quite the same compared to the professional surgeon way of doing it in the first movie.. example.. be put out with anesthesia or a crow bar to the head.. be surgically sewn together or your lips staple gunned to the ass of the person in front of you. That pretty much is the comparison in a nut shell as far as where the 1st one took us and where this one leads us. I think I liked the 1st one better because it was a shock value when I first saw it and when you watch this one your expecting the craziness. Either way my friend watched it with us and we watched it while eating dinner.. me and my husband grubbed and he couldnt eat while watching it ha ha. It's all in what you can handle. Enjoy! ;)
