Canadian horror-comedy is “A Little Bit Zombie”

“Being dead is easy, it’s getting married that’s the killer.”

A Little Bit Zombie is being publicized as being created by one of the masterminds behind Evil Dead: The Musical. This Canadian horror-comedy is currently showcasing a Twilight-esque movie poster, so I’d much rather use the one pictured to the left. The plot, taken from the film’s Official Facebook, is summarized as: “Infected by a virus during his bachelor party, a mild mannered HR manager attempts to fulfill his overwhelming desire for brains and avoid Max, the obsessed Zombie Hunter hot on his trail. All while keeping it together so as not to incur the wrath of his Bridezilla-to-be.”

A Little Bit Zombie is directed by Casey Walker (“Survive This”), written by Trevor Martin and Christopher Bond, and will star award winner Stephen McHattie, Kristopher Turner (“Highland Gardens”), scream queen Crystal Lowe, Shawn Roberts (Resident Evil franchise), and Kristen Hager (“Being Human”). I posted an article about this film earlier in the year, citing the budget for the film so check that out if you get bored.

Now, IMDB has “2012” listed as the release date in Canada for A Little Bit Zombie, but seeing how that expires in 24 days, I doubt our Canadian HorrorSociety fans will be catching this film before the year is up. This also means that all our other readers will probably have to wait even longer to see A Little Bit Zombie. Behind the scenes videos, sneak peaks, and trailers are available through the film’s Official Site. But you have to be a member to view the material. I say “Boo!” to that, but at least it keeps the film safe from file sharing…
