You’re Invited: Chanel Ryan’s Film Release/Birthday Celebration

(And for the record, I’m really pretty jealous  since I can’t go…)

Friday will be a special day! Not only because it is the end of another hectic work week, but because it is the birthday of one of our favorite people here at www.horrorsociety.com. Chanel Ryan will be celebrating her birthday exclusively at Bardot Hollywood in Hollywood, California.  The event starts at 10PM. Ask for Jamie Barren at the door, located to the right of Avalon. And! Not only is Chanel celebrating her birthday, but she is also celebrating the release of three of her upcoming films. They aren’t being released to theater or home entertainment yet, but the release celebration is more of a celebration that the films have been picked up for screenings and distribution for the before mentioned markets. Chanel started her career in horror 2009 with Hobgoblins 2, but has many more that she will appear in.

The films Chanel will be celebrating this Friday include – Bad Kids Go To Hell, a horror-comedy based on the popular comic book series that will screen at Cannes in 2012; Small Apartments, a crime-comedy based on the book by Chris Millis that will screen at Sundance in January; and The Witches of Oz, a movie based on original Oz material that will hit theaters in February. Seems like a lot to celebrate if you ask me!

Also look for Chanel Ryan in 2012 in Jonathan Moody’s Scream Queen Campfire, the horror-comedy Paranormal Whacktivity, Legend of The Red Reaper, and other films.

A lot of recognizable people will be there including Bad Kids Go To Hell actress and directior Augie Duke and Matthew Spradlin, The Witches of Oz castmates Noel Thurman, Jessica Sonneborn, Barry Ratcliffe, Al Snow, and Kristina Page (Agua Caliente), Carlos Ramirez (The Boys & Girls Guide To Getting Down), Burgandi Phoenix (American Girls), Brandon Slagle (“The Mentalist”), Jennifer Lyons (Transylmania), Amber Smith (“L.A. Confidential”), Nadia Dawn (Silver Lake), Camden Toy (multiple monsters on “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”), John Mawson (Masters Of The House), Josh Hammond (Jeepers Creepers 2), Angelina Armani (Chromeskull: Laid To Rest 2), and world renonouned scream queen Devanny Pinn.
