While Giants fans are busy celebrating their latest Super Bowl win, horror fans are remembering a man who left a lasting impression on the genre… It is being reported by dozens of media outlets that Bill Hinzman has passed away. He was 76.
Bill Hinzman is most recognized from the iconic “They’re coming to get you, Barbara,” scene in the original Night of The Living Dead. Bill plays the zombie that chased Barbara. This scene would go on to become one of the most iconic scenes in all horror movie cinema, especially in zombie films. Bill would go on to have a smaller career in horror films, including roles in the original Crazies, FleshEater, Santa Claws, and his last film River of Darkess. FleshEater was released in 1988 and is a film that Hinzman wrote, directed, and produced in addition to starring.
