One of the movies on my “Highly Anticipated” list is currently seeking funding. Scream Queen Campfire is a new horror anthology that will feature many writers, directors, and actors from the horror scene. I feel that the combination of well-known and indie cast and crew will make this film…pretty much epic. The film is also undergoing changes regarding cast and segment plots. You can read all of the most up to date information in the press release below. But, what’s most important is the funding – so, let’s get back to that!
Jonathan Moody has real high hopes for this project and the budget is pretty steep. He needs your help! By donating to the funding campaign, you can earn yourself a special message from the cast, signed poster, signed script (after the film is released), and a special thanks credit in the film. It all depends how much you donate. There are so many talented and beautiful actresses who are lined up for Scream Queen Campfire. I’m sure you recognize a lot of them. Jonathan A. Moody (Scary Story Slumber Party, Echo Lake) is working hard on getting his newest anthology film Scream Queen Campfire financed. The total budget needed for the film will be 100,000. But he’s letting the fans that want to see the film get finished have a chance to help with the film. Right now Jonathan is just looking for 50 grand to get it started. The 50 grand will go to 3 of the 6 different segments.
The film will star Chanel Ryan (Bad Kids go to Hell, Small Apartments), Monique DuPree (Plan 9, Post Mortem, America 2021), Kaylee Williams (Disciples, Slices of Life), Sierra Holmes (Piranha 3DD, Legacy of the Masque) Julie Anne Prescott (As Night Falls, No Strings 2: Playtime), Melantha Blackthorne (Sinners and Saints, Frankenstein’s Patchwork Monster), Seregon O’Dassey (Witch’s Brew, Scrooge in The Hood), DJ Perry (The 8th Plague, Blood Ties), Brittney Scalf (Scary Story Slumber Party, Echo Lake), James Furey (Kodie, American Battleship), Shawn C. Phillips (Chillerama, Ghostquake), Chris Harkins, and many others. Some who haven’t even been announced yet.
The short segments include “The Campfire” written by Jonathan A. Moody and Richard Keel (Dead Air, Scary Story Slumber Party Volume 2) with a story by Shawn C. Phillips. “Club Syren” written by Jonathan A. Moody with a story by Chris Harkins. “Road Rage” written by Jonathan A. Moody and Richard Keel. “Wrong Number” written by Kelsey Zukowski (What They Say, The Hazed) with a story by Jonathan A. Moody, “Night School” written by Kelsey Zukowski. And “Scream Queen Bloodbath” written by Jonathan A. Moody and Kelsey Zukowski.
