Filming ‘Round Midtown takes an in-depth and first hand look at independent film making and film news in the Chicago area.
I bet you’re thinking, “What does this have to do with indie horror?” Well, obviously – a lot! Let’s start with the cast and crew – all women in horror and scifi. You’ll recognize Heather Dorff from What They Say and the upcoming Mother’s Blood, Deann Baker as the editor of the upcoming series Legacy of The Masque, Kelsey Zukowski as the writer behind the upcoming anthologies Scary Story Slumber Party and Scream Queen Campfire, and graphics artist Taryn Lindsey. Not only that, but Filming ‘Round Midtown will cover several horror news stories from time to time. Even the premiere will feature a spot about special FX make up and how to do it yourself. Which is enough to reel me in!
