Today must be a big “Happy Easter” for Ashton Leigh. Not only will she be appearing in a brand new episode of Breakout Kings tonight at 10:0PM/9:00 Central on A&E, but the movie poster for her new film, Contrition, has just been released.
Contrition, which will hopefully be released in late 2012, is a mix of genres, blending together horror with a psychological thriller. The film, a joint venture by JH Productions, URC Media, New Logic Television, and Light Productions, was originally working under the name Restless. Contrition comes from the heads of Aaron Boltz and Josh Hodgins who serve as director and writers, respectively. Josh Hodgins also stars in this film alongside Ashton Leigh, Jez’reel Venegas, and Bryan McGlothlin. The plot is summarized as: “An average man lives the same day over and over again, which inadvertently ends up with the same result…death! ”
