Fan Film: Silent Hill: Stolen Heart

We’ve been sent along some information about a short, fan film based off of the Silent Hill franchise. It’s called Silent Hill: Stolen Heart and it is written, directed, and DP’ed by Paul Leeming; and cowritten and produced by Hamish Downie. Click here to watch Silent Hill: Stolen Heart on YouTube. It comes in at just over 5 minutes long.

Paul and Hamish are two Tokyo-based Australian filmmakers who are currently enjoying a lot of success after c0-directing the “Never Let You Down” music video for pop star Robyn Loau. Speaking of big name talent, Silent Hill: Stolen Heart stars Zenta Ochi, male model and karate champion.

This short film was shot in an actual abandoned mining town that was coincidentally shut down in 1974 – the same year Silent Hill was said to become abandoned. Talk about perfect timing and location, or what! Obviously Paul and Hamish are die-hard Silent Hill fans and very passionate about this project. So make sure you go give their film some views; I enjoyed it!
