‘Foodie’ screening in Durham, North Carolina on May 17th!

After just watching Foodie myself, I am pleased to inform our south East Coast readers that this short film will be screening in Durham, North Carolina on May 17, 2012. I really want you to go out and see it. It’s a longer-length short film, but it is one of the most cohesive short films I’ve seen in a long time. My review of the film will hopefully be posted tomorrow, but if you can’t tell already – I loved it.!

Foodie screens at 7:00PM at MotorCo, 723 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, North Carolina on May 17, 2012. Apparently this will be some sort of big event and there will be food trucks, music, and drinks; as well as multiple screenings of Foodie throughout the night. All Foodie asks for is a $5 ticket/cover fee at the door.

Foodie is a short, horror-comedy about: “a food service industry professional who receives an invitation to an exclusive, underground dinner party and finds out there’s much more on the menu than he bargained for.” Foodie is written by Christopher G. Moore and Eryk Pruitt. Christopher G. Moore serves as the director as well. The film stars Nick Karner, John Jimerson, Meredith Sause, Jeff Alguire, and Tony Hughes; with Angela Pritchett on special effects.
