A new horror anthology web series starring scream queens Debbie Rochon, Raine Brown, and Suzi Lorraine from filmmaker Scott W. Perry to launch with six episodes this Halloween.
Scott W. Perry, director of the acclaimed horror shorts INSATIABLE and SOMETHING JUST, is pleased to announce through his Slick Devil Entertainment banner the launch of a brand new anthology web series that will stretch the boundaries of horror, “In Fear Of.”
“In Fear Of” is a horror based anthology web series in the tradition of “The Twilight Zone,” “Tales From The Crypt,” and “Masters Of Horror” about the most basic elements of fear: phobias.
Each episode, running 5-15 minutes in length, will specialize in a different clinical phobia, covering all aspects of the horror genre. The characters will not be named and is inspired to draw creativity within a budget. Working with Perry on the initial episodes is fellow filmmaker Jeremiah Kipp (THE POD, CONTACT), serving as series producer and director of two episodes.
So far the following episodes have been confirmed:
MONOPHOBIA (Fear Of Being Alone): Scream queen legend Debbie Rochon and David Marancik star in this hilarious tale of a woman’s desperate attempt to nab a boyfriend results in a disastrous dinner date. Directed by Scott W. Perry and written by Perry, Rochon, and Marancik.
ACHLUOPHOBIA (Fear Of Darkness): During a blackout, a woman (Raine Brown, 100 TEARS) begins to suspect she is not alone when the candles surrounding her begin to blow out one by one. This episode was shot entirely using nothing but candlelight. Directed by Scott W. Perry
PODOPHOBIA (Fear Of Feet): A woman (Xiomara Cintron) finds that everything is perfect about her, except her feet, which she tries to make good with dire results. This episode will be in black and white. Directed by Jeremiah Kipp (CONTACT, THE POD).
COIMETROPHOBIA (Fear Of Cemeteries): Suzi Lorraine (WON TON BABY) and Damien Colletti (NO STRINGS 2) star in this tale of a woman who wakes up alone in a cemetery and tries to recall the events that led her there. Directed by Scott W. Perry
In addition, two more episodes will be shot, and all six will premiere online on Halloween. More episodes will follow shortly thereafter.
