One of New Jersey’s biggest horror conventions, Monster-Mania, is returning to the Tri-state area on August 17 through August 19. This convention is now in its 22nd run. The three-day event will be held at The Crowne Plaza (4 miles past exit 34B of I-295) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Tickets are on sale [here] and a day pass is only $25 and weekend pass is only $50. So who will be appearing at this event? Well, celebrity guests are just starting to be announced, but I will share with you who they have confirmed on the official website. Firstly, Clive Barker will be signing autographs and taking pictures at Monster-Mania 22. Clive Barker, Doug Bradley, Ashley Laurence, Claire Higgins, Andrew Robinson, Barbie Wilde, Nicholas Vince, Simon Bamford, Ken Cranham, and Craig Sheffer will also be guests in a huge Hellraiser franchise 25 year reunion!
Other guests include Predator stars Carl Weathers and Sonny Landham, “Walking Dead” stars Jeffrey Demunn and Madison Lintz, and Nancy Allen (Carrie). Bradley Gregg (A Nightmare On Elm Street 3) will make his first convention appearance ever. John Russo (…Living Dead franchise), Joey Lauren Adams (Mallrats), Anne Bobby (Nightbreed), and iconic FX master Tom Savini will also be in attendance. Steve & Jeff Carlson and David Hanson will be there along with Elizabeth Shepherd from Tomb of Ligelia. Indie horror icon Quinn Lord (“Sam” in Trick R Treat) and beautiful Scream Queen Monique Dupree (Bikini Bloodbath Christmas) are two of the guests I would most like to meet again.
The Living Corpse artists Ken Haeser & Buzz Hasson, Halloween comic book artist Jeff Zornow, Megadeth comic book artist Scott Jackson, and Jim Florentine & Don Jamieson from That Metal Show round out the talented guests who have already been announced for Monster-Mania 22.
