Normally I’d say something like, “May God have mercy on our souls…,” but who’s really planning on seeing this anyway?
It was announced exclusively by E! Online tonight that Lindsay Lohan has indeed signed on to play a part in the upcoming Scary Movie 5. She will join Ashley Tisdale, and returning cast members Charlie Sheen, Anthony Anderson, and Regina Hall in this once-thought-dead franchise. Scary Movie 5 is rumored to be a combination of Blockbusters Black Swan and Paranormal Activity. Dimension Films has set a tentative release date of April 19, 2013.
This wouldn’t be Lindsay Lohan’s first foray into horror, as she was the lead role in the box office bomb I Know Who Killed Me. That fact mixed with her lackluster, comedic appearances on “Saturday Night Live,” leave me wondering what is in store for Miss Lohan? It could be anywhere from playing herself, to a role like the one in Machete, or – dare I say it? – a lead role.
I guess we will see in 2013!
