Feature film Pieces of Talent To Screen Worldwide

Great response and a growing fanbase has prompted these independent filmmakers to show the world their masterpiece. A limited time worldwide screening. Just in time for Halloween.

Shutter Blade Media announced today that it will be holding a worldwide pre-released screening of their new feature film “Pieces Of Talent” beginning October 1st 2012.

“Pieces of Talent” was shot on location in eastern North Carolina. The film, independently financed, has held true to the spirit of the indie world right down to using independent music artists for the soundtrack. The filmmakers involved are now taking it one step further by holding an appropriately timed, independent worldwide online screening. Utilizing a unique pay-per-view platform, the film will be able to be viewed online for the entire month of October in an effort to build awareness and expand it’s rapidly growing fan base.

SYNOPSIS:
Set in the small coastal town of Bright Leaf, North Carolina, “Pieces of Talent” centers around Charlotte, a disillusioned aspiring actress working a night job as a cocktail waitress in order to make ends meet. Charlotte catches a break when seemingly chance circumstances put her in contact with a local filmmaker, David Long. David and Charlotte form a quick friendship that leads to Charlotte landing the starring role in David’s newest project. David quickly becomes obsessed with Charlotte and begins building his bloody masterpiece by killing members of the community. He films each encounter with the ultimate goal of filming Charlotte as his final installment. David is a happily obsessed individual willing to do whatever it takes to make “true art”. He utilizes his charm and skills to make something dark and deranged seem utterly beautiful and loving.

CROWD REACTIONS:
“Between the excellent camera-work and some superb acting performances, Pieces of Talent was an all-around quality effort. It is a film that understands itself well, and lives up to that artistic vision. I found myself tense and on edge for much of the movie; feelings that many, higher budget, ‘block-buster’ films of similar genres have failed to evoke.”

“On par with Fincher’s SE7EN, this mind-bending thriller will shock, awe, and amaze you. When I sat down to watch it this summer, at a local screening, I was not expecting an indie horror to evoke such emotion from within. The minds of Shutter Blade have achieved true artistry in this film. From a tightly woven script, to the array of talented actors and non-actors, to the craftsmanship behind this unique cult classic – leaves little to criticize. There is heart oozing from each frame. WATCH THIS. or you’ll be missing out.”

Starring: Kristi Ray, Barbara Weetman, Taylor Kowalski, Jon Stafford, Nate Panning, Shaun O’rourke, and David Long.

Directed by Joe Stauffer.
