Prepare to be probed? Ok, you don’t have to tell me twice!

I’m so very happy to see Frosty: ‘Twas The Night Before The Apocalypse starting to head somewhere. If you remember, not too long ago I teased Horror Society subscribers with a physical Frosty maquette. While, unfortunately, I don’t think a live action version is coming anytime soon, I am excited to tell you that the 48 page comic book will be out Fall 2013! But, it needs your help.

Frosty: ‘Twas The Night Before The Apocalypse comes to you from none other than Bobby Ray Akers from Dead of Night Entertainment and Dennis Willman from Iron Dead Studios. Together, these guys have brought you comic books such as Playzom, Ginger-Stein, and The Vengeance of Sleepy Hollow. As always, characters in the art book will be modeled after real life horror vixens including Monique Dupree, Eliza Jayne, Stacey Dixon, DeeDee Bigelow, Suki Peters, Devanny Pinn, Samantha Ann Christianson, Mya Nguyen and Brett Wagner. Ok, Brett Wagner isn’t a vixen..right?

“Join your Master of Ceremonies, FROSTY, and sit back and relax as he tells you a terrifying tale concerning Santa Claus, mutations, gorgeous women and aliens. What should have been a simple, Northern Canadian holiday road trip for three friends turns into a nightmare beyond imagination as they finds themselves in the middle of a bloody battle between Santa Claus and his army of elves and a massive alien invasion force from Neptune. Sounds crazy, you say? Don’t worry, that’s because it is. But fortunately for us, FROSTY will help make sense of it all. Epic battles, huge armies, mutating holiday icons, re-animated backwater idiots and blood sucking alien slugs are just a few of the terrors our brave trio must face in order to not just save themselves, but possibly the world.”

“This multimedia project is a celebration of science fiction and 80’s style horror, as well as being a new spin on an old twist. The violence is over the top, the humor is ridiculous, the nudity is celebrated and the mood as frightening as a horror-themed Holiday story can be.”

And while you’re there, make sure you donate. Even going for one of the smaller perks is worth it. I mean, seriously, spending $20 for a pre-order of Frosty isn’t any different than going to a comic book store and buying any other comic book.
