1939 – Wolfman Jack, He appeared in the film “Motel Hell,” and as himself in the “The Night the Cylons Landed” episode of the TV series “Galactica 80.”

1929 – Radley Metzger, director of such films as “The Cat and the Canary” (1978),

1924 – Telly Savalas, best known for playing the title role in the TV series “Kojack.” He appeared in the films “Horror Express,” “Lisa and the Devil” and the “Living Doll” episode of “The Twilight Zone.” He passed away the day before his 70th birthday.

1896 – J. Carrol Naish, who appeared in “The Monster Maker” (1944), “Jungle Woman” (1944), “House of Frankenstein” (1944), “The Beast with Five Fingers”, and “Dracula vs. Frankenstein”
