2009 – Kim Manners, who produced and directed for the TV shows “Supernatural” and “The X-Files,” passed away at the age of 58.

2009 – Arthur A. Jacobs, who produced the films “Giant From the Unknown” and “She Demons,” passe away at the age of 60.

1991 – Lilian Bond, who appeared in the original version of “The Old Dark House,” “Man in the Attic” and “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” passed away at the age of 83.

1977 – Donald Kerr, who had bit roles in “Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,” “Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man” and “Flash Gordon’s Trip To Mars,” passed away at the age of 85.

1970 – Eiji Tsuburaya, who was the Toho effects genius, passed away at the age of 85. He not only created their famous logo, but did the incredible effects for numerous films starting with the original “Gojira” in 1954, right up to “Godzilla’s Revenge” which was released a month before his death
