‘Walking Dead’ star Laurie Holden receiving death threats.

Horror Society Walking Dead star Laurie Holden receiving death threats. www.horrorsociety.comMultiple news sources are reporting that Laurie Holden, one of the stars of The Walking Dead, is receiving death threats from Dead fans. Why, you may ask? Remember midway through season two when Andrea was being gun trained and accidentally shot Daryl thinking he was a walker? Well, apparently Dixon fans haven’t let that go yet and use that as fuel to send Ms. Holden some very threatening messages.

The violent threats had gotten so bad, in fact, that producers had Laurie Holden and Norman Reedus take a picture (left) to put online and broadcast to fans. Their hope was that people would realize that Laurie and Norman are just two actors doing their jobs and are actually FRIENDS in real life.

Personally, I can think of much better reasons to hate Andrea. Yes, Andrea…not Laurie Holden. Andrea is just a CHARACTER portrayed by Laurie Holden. They’re not one in the same. It’s becoming sadly apparent that the bridge between television and reality is becoming very small for some people. I just hope that these people sending death threats to a great actress get their heads out of their asses and don’t do anything stupid.

This whole thing comes just a few months after a murder was committed between two people arguing about the hit AMC show The Walking Dead.
