A cast member returns! Camilla Carr tapped for Don’t Look in the Basement 2.

So cool! It was just announced this morning that Camilla Carr will be returning to the basement in id: Don’t Look in the Basement 2. Although, she will be playing a completely different role in the new movie. Take note that there is some serious continuity with this sequel: original director’s son, original location, and an original cast member returning. “February 17th, 2014/Dallas, Texas

RDM Productions, and id: Don’t Look in the Basement 2, LLC announce the addition of Camilla Carr to the cast of id: Don’t Look in the Basement 2.

Ms. Carr, having appeared in the 1973 original Don’t Look in the Basement in the role of “Harriet, will return to the screen for filming of the 40 year sequel. This time she will be portraying “Emily”, the clinic’s administrator.

An accomplished novelist, and playwright, Ms. Carr graced three of S.F. Brownrigg’s horror films; Don’t Look in the Basement, Poor White Trash II, and Keep My Grave Open.

Principal photography of the sequel will commence at the end of March, in Tehuacana Texas, at the original location of the first film. Details on the plot of the sequel are still being kept under wraps.

Anthony Brownrigg, son of S.F., will be directing, and wrote the script along with Megan Emerick. The film also stars Andrew Sensenig, Frank Mosley,, and Arianne Margot (Red Victoria).”
