Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak has passed away. She was just 21-years-old. The cause of death is currently unknown, but she is believed to have passed away in her sleep at home in Texas last night.
Skye is most known to the horror community for her supporting and lead roles in The Darkling (2000), Firestarter 2: Rekindled (2002), Boogeyman (2005), and Sick Boy (2012.)
Her other noteworthy credits include The Patriot (2000) with Mel Gibson, Don’t Say A Word (2001) with Michael Douglas, Riding in Cars with Boys (2009), and her recurring role on the hit thriller, “24.”
It’s a shame to see her bright light diminished way before her time. All of us here at HorrorSociety.com send our condolences to her family.
