Los Angeles, CA – 9 February 2015 – The multiple award-winning indie supernatural feature, 21 DAYS, will be screening next at the 16th annual NEVERMORE Film Festival on Friday, Feb. 20th at 5:00pm and Sat. Feb 21st at 5:20pm at the CAROLINA THEATRE of DURHAM.
The film, fresh off its latest festival win at the PHILIP K DICK SCIENCE FICTION AND SUPERNATURAL FILM FESTIVAL in NYC last month, where it won BEST SUPERNATURAL FEATURE FILM, is written, directed and co-produced by first time feature director, Kathleen Behun.
The story is about three filmmakers who embark on a paranormal challenge by barricading themselves in a house so haunted, no one has been able to live in more than 21 days, in order to film the supernatural phenomena which presumably occur… but nothing can prepare them for the evil that lies in wait…
In the three months the film has been on the festival circuit, it’s won six awards from four different fests across the U.S, which include, four for BEST FEATURE FILM (Los Angeles Film and Script Festival, Freakshow Horror Film Fest, RIP Horror Film Fest and the Philip K Dick Science Fiction Film Fest); one for BEST DIRECTOR (RIP Horror); and one for BEST ACTOR- Max Hambleton (Freakshow Horror Film Fest.)
The film stars Max Hambleton, Whitney Rose Pynn, who co-stars in AQUARIOUS; the upcoming David Duchovny series on NBC, and Mickey River of UNFRIENDED; the highly anticipated horror found-footage feature by UNIVERSAL.
