532065_462153220561037_1016009863_nI think we’re all in a little bit of a “Walking Dead” withdrawal right now, so I’m dedicating this Where Are They Now to one of the first cast members, one that we maybe lost a little too soon. Madison Lintz, a young aspiring actress, booked her first credited role on the hit AMC series, “The Walking Dead.” Not such a bad start, huh? In the zombie series, Lintz played Sophia, daughter of Carol, and was mostly just featured as a background player during the first six episodes. When the Robert Kirkman show returned for season two, Sophia became the centerpiece of the first few episodes as Rick Grimes and the other survivors desperately searched for her after a highway attack. Unfortunately their efforts were in vain and zombified Sophia had to be shot in the head.

In between her stint on “The Walking Dead” from 2010 to 2012, Lintz made guest appearances on shows like “It’s Supernatural” and “Nashville.” She also began her film career with comedy’s American Journey, Parental Guidance and a small role in mystery-thriller After. Since 2012, though, nothing much has been heard from her career-wise.

So, where is Madison Lintz now?

She’s all grown up! And she’s still acting! And she even has a few projects in the pipeline. First, she’ll appear in a horror film due out later this year titled Tell Me Your Name. She’ll play a supporting character opposite “Kyle XY” star Matt Dallas. Then, near the end of the year she will play a recurring, supporting role in “Bosch,” a freshman series greenlit by Amazon Studios. The drama features other noteworthy actors and will stream exclusively on Amazon.com.

I think we’re all most excited to see Madison back in horror again, so make sure you keep your eyes open for future updates on Tell Me Your Name!
