A few years ago I posted an indiegogo campaign video for an upcoming web-series titled “The S.P.I.E.S. Files.” The video was a little rough around the edges, but forget the original content because after a major overhaul and period of revamping, “The S.P.I.E.S. Files” is finally ready to see the light of day and you can get a glimpse at the web-series in the recently released official trailer, which I’ve included below. And, if I can say, it looks like the project turned out much better than I expected!
Created by Mario Likes Movies’ Mario Melillo and Seeing Red, “The S.P.I.E.S. Files” follows Dr. Grant Brown, Trevor Blackburn and the rest of the Scientific Paranormal Investigation Education Society as they begin uncovering what goes bump in the night. The web-series will also star Melillo and a handful of New Jersey actors including Ari Karen Green, Missy Heather Byron, Anthony Edward Curry, John Alexandravicius and Jeanette Aulet.
Episode 0 and Episode 1 of “The S.P.I.E.S. Files” will premiere this Saturday at Grindhouse Nights at Cafe Z in Union, New Jersey. Not only that, but they will be kicking off the event! So make sure you show up to this event and watch this independent horror-comedy series as it unfolds with the cast and crew. It’s only $15 at the door and you can enjoy the whole festival, food and drinks, vendors and much more!
