UR:J features films by American director, Darryl Knickrehm and will feature new films throughout the year. Featured at film festivals around the world, the films that have excited audiences and exposed them to Japan from the source (not through Hollywood remakes) are now available at the click of a mouse. Brought to you by DK PRO, bridging the east in west in style, story and cinema. Graduated from Chapman University with a major in film and minor in Japanese.

In 2003 moved to Japan and currently resides in Kobe, making films and has established a small production company, DK PRO. Specializes in mixing both eastern and western style and story in cinema. Has produced 6 short films: In Absentia, 152, Rodosha – The Laborer, The Visiting, Deadline, and Out of Context. Other short films currently in production are: The Witching Hour, The Wishing Tree, and a documentary about renowned American Potter in Japan, John Dix. Was also the producer of the Kansai International Film Festival in Osaka, Japan in 2007 and currently working on the next years festival. Currently in planning for the feature film: The Oneironaught.

DK PRO is a production company located in Kobe, Japan. Established in the US in 2002 as a production group with a few friends, it was moved to Japan in 2003 and has grown since then. Since its creation in the US, the main goal of DK PRO is to produce unique, thought-provoking entertainment by bridging the East (mainly Japan) and west in style, thought and story. DK PRO features film production, design and photography. In 2007 DK PRO produced the Kansai International Film Festival in Osaka, Japan screening “Japanese” films made around the globe to an audience of 500 people.
