Okay you horror-freaks and gore-hounds, I know this is not “per-say” HORROR, but its pretty awesome none-the-less. Black Metal and the genre is probably the creepiest and dark a musical genre and history in music as you will ever get! So check this shit out!
I had the chance to go see this film last year with Kreepylady Kristin who most of you that are into the Chicago Horror scene already know of and I really enjoyed it. I don’t exactly remember Kristin’s reaction, but not being a fan of Black Metal and not knowing much about it, I would say that she somewhat enjoyed it. It sold out and one of our good buddies Jason did not get tickets early enough and had to miss out on seeing it.

The film will be shown at the GENE SISKEL FILM CENTER in Chicago. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster as well. I suggest buying them early in case it sells out. It will only be there for ONE WEEK ONLY! Do not miss the chance to see it on the big screen. If anyone has a venue, shop, hang-out or whatnot that thinks would be a safe and good place to put a poster for the film up, let SHU know. I will be in Chicago getting promotional materials for the movie on the 16th. We need to help promote independent film-making, of all genres and walks of life. Horror Society is all about indie films, as if you could not tell. So here is an indie film that needs the horror community’s help. One can help by supporting it. On a side note, the film sold exactly 666 tickets in NYC. How rad is that? Kinda creepy, too!
