The Molting Chapter 5 Review
Reviewed by: Maggie Roberge

Halloween night in Anaheim, trick-or-treaters are out collecting candy, but they won’t get any from the Pryzkinds. Susie remains in her own world, while her family tries to get by around her. Joe still struggles to survive and figure out who he is, while at the same time deals with the presence of the seductive Sandra. Meanwhile, the cockroaches are taking over the house, consuming any food, and doing what Sandra has planned for herself: have hundreds of babies. Still, even through Susie’s brooding, Joe’s self search and cockroaches raining from the cabinets, the Pryzkinds manage to live on.

Terrance was really able to show the hardships of the Pryzkind family, while also showing their inner strengths and will to keep on going. He shows that through her flaws and self-brooding, she still cares for her son. Also, though the entire family has different issues they need to deal with, they still stay together as a family. What will happen next with the Pryzkinds? We’ll have to find out in the next issue.
