The Apocalypse Narrated

Under the stars. Close your eyes and listen to the apocalypse narrated!

If you’ve never spent an afternoon or evening downtown Chicago in the Pavillion in Millennium Park, this might convince you to take a gander. The best part of Chicago summers are the little things, specifically, the FREE things.

Take a blanket, some wine and snacks, and head out maybe an hour before starting time to catch a good spot on the lawn or even a seat, and listen to the lovely sounds of the apocalypse!

Hear Franz Schmidt’s THE BOOK WITH SEVEN SEALS (1937 masterpiece) by the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus.

When: Friday, August 12, 2011, 6:30pm – 8:45pm
