Rock Band MARION CRANE Releases Zombie Themed Music Video

JACKSONVILLE – Marion Crane has just released a new music video for the title track off of their upcoming full-length album “The New Religion”, which will be released by Full Effect Records (Sony/Red) on June 5th.

Directed and edited by singer/guitarist S. Thomas Crane, the zombie-themed music video was shot in the streets of downtown Jacksonville, and features the work of noted makeup effects artist Adrian Chappell. The video portrays a zombie outbreak that begins in the band’s hometown of Jacksonville. Local actors and volunteers were recruited to take part in the video.

“The song is a sarcastic critique of just how vapid and shallow modern culture has become, from reality tv to a dependence on technology,” stated S. Thomas Crane. “The song has a line in it that sarcastically asks, ‘What time does the apocalypse start again’? I thought it would only be fitting to make the video a literal interpretation of that.”
