It seems like the funding phase for Vanity was over before it began. Pre-production and filming went by just as fast and now Vanity is in post-production. As with every film, the editing process during post-production means the release of stills and other media from filming. Vanity is no different, but it raises a whole lot of questions. Myke Wilson’s latest project is very mysterious to me. Are those people zombies or in a trance or just crazy? Why is Myke Wilson wearing the same shirt from his funding video? And why is Melissa Revels chained to a diner table?
Hopefully, all these questions will be answered soon! Part of the perks of contributing to the Indiegogo campaign was a DVD copy of the film. Don’t you guys wish you contributed now? Vanity is the latest short film by N’Tense Pictures and is directed by Michael “Myke” Wilson. It is written by the fantastic Travis Legge and helped into production by an assortment of producers including Joe DeBartolo, Elisabetta Rajkovich, Richard Roland Jr., and Michael DeFellipo (me!). The film stars Ty Yaeger and Melissa Revels, as well as a few yet-to-be-named actors. Full cast and crew coming soon!
Vanity follows “Megan, a girl who is hiding a dirty little secret from her boyfriend, Richard. When the secret is leaked, Richard and a few of his close friends make sure she pays for her one selfish secret.”
