JUST ANNOUNCED: Zombie Babies 2: The Crawling Dead

This week is turning out to be quite the amazing week for Eamon Hardiman and Razor Sharp Studios. All of the advance copies of Porkchop 3D have shipped, its predecessor Porkchop II: Rise of the Rind was released to DVD on Amazon today, and a previous film, Zombie Babies, was released to DVD on Amazon today as well. Not only that, but Zombie Babies was featured on one of the pages of Entertainment Weekly. So much for indie horror, Eamon is reaching the big time!

Speaking of Zombie Babies, it was just announced today that Zombie Babies 2: The Crawling Dead is in preproduction! The Facebook page and an Indiegogo campaign page have been launched to get the ball rolling!

Being that Zombie Babies 2 is in the fetal stages (see what I just did there?), not a lot is known at the moment except that Razor Sharp staples Eamon Hardiman (writer and director) and actor Brian Gunnoe are on board for this production; and we have a detailed synopsis. “With his abortion clinic failing to turn a profit, redneck business mogul Burt Fleming decides to re-open his infamous Hotel & Casino, turning it into a couples’ resort. Unfortunately, when an explosion occurs in the nursery, each couple will come face to face with their spawn, now re-animated as the walking…er…crawling dead!”

This brings the Indiegogo campaign into consideration. By donating money, you can help get this project off the ground and help support cast members who will be attached to this film. There are a lot of perks that you can acquire by donating. They include a special thanks, phone call from “Burt Flemings,” digital download of Zombie Babies, autographed copy of Zombie Babies 2 upon completion of film, t-shirt, lunchbox, wardrobe from set, signed scripts, one-sie, associate producer credit, write a scene for the movie, invite to the premiere (travel/lodging not included), write a kill, executive producer credit, and dinner with cast and crew.

So, get to it! Go donate to Zombie Babies 2: The Crawling Dead or your next baby may go all Dawn of The Dead remake on you. Zombie Babies 2 is expected to begin filming in April.
