In the Spotlight with Death’s Chronicles

DC1In the Spotlight we are proud to present DEATH’S CHRONICLES. An American horror anthology web-series that will feature original Indy shorts under the genres of horror, sci-fi, fantasy and dark dramas. The main goal with this series is to be able to bring all the Philly Indy Filmmakers together on one project. The goal will be achieved by having a show with a creepy intriguing host (Death) that will comment and give morals for each story told from its chronicles (Think TALES FROM THE CRYPT meets ELVIRA). Those stories will be shorts created by Director and Creator, David L. Powell III and other filmmakers who submit for the show. To date, we have already received enough shorts for 4 episodes and we are currently running a casting ad for the 3 shorts ZOMBIE OASIS, LITTLE CINDY and HAUNTED ALLEYWAY that you can find in the job section of this website.

We are presently in search for our primary host, which we need your help deciding. We received so many qualified actors for the position that we decided to let the people vote. Below you will find the link to the top contestants, watch their auditions and vote by putting your favorite contestants name in the comment section. Feel free to vote more than once.

Filmmakers who submit content will be able to receive a % of all profits made from episodes featuring their short film, which will be calculated by the amount of views that, that episode receives. So not only does this stand to be a great production for the individual, it’ll be a great production for Philadelphia. It’ll open a platform for filmmakers to showcase their films in an arranged setting and create multiple acting and crew jobs for upcoming filming solely for the web-series. That’s why DEATH’S CHRONICLES was selected for the Spotlight this month.
