2006 – Character actor Robert Sterling, passed away at the age of 88. His numerous TV appearances include episodes of “Alfred Hitchcock Presents,” “The Twilight Zone” and as “George Kerby” in the “Topper” TV series. He also appeared in the film version of “Voyage To the Bottom of the Sea” with Peter Lorre.

1998 – Producer Stanley Bickman whose films include Battle of Blood Island,” “Deadly Manor” and “The Brain Eaters,” passed away at the age of 66.

1967 – Now you see him, now you don’t….Claude Rains who starred in “The Invisible Man,” “The Wolf Man” and the 1943 version of “The Phantom of the Opera,” passed away at the age of 77.
