1. How did you get into the industry?
From when I was younger I always wanted to act, by the time I was in high school I started watching more horror movies (Yes, it took me that long to not be scared of them. I saw The Exorcist when I was 12! Haha!). I fell in love with the genre and really loved scaring people. My first taste of the live genre was working at the Six Flags Hayride, that’s when the horror bug really bit! It was so much fun to scare the hell out of people! Few years later, I went further and became a certified special FX makeup artist. Then, I started taking acting classes at the NJ school of dramatic arts. What followed snow balled into almost constant horror movies. My very first role was in a Philadelphia based horror film Deadly Detour, which you can find in some local stores to buy! After that I did films such as Armageddon Ed’s Ticket to Hell, Pembrook, Blood Lodge, Daisy Derkins vs. The Bloodthirsty Beast of Barren Pines, Sloppy the Psychotic and Cut among others. I have also done some photo shoots, one of which was in a local art show, which was horror based! When I was nominated for Favorite Scream Queen of 2012, which I didn’t even know about until after it was announced, I was surprised but excited too. When I won, it was one of the greatest moments of my life so far and I am honored to be the first one out of the Horror Society awards!! Now, I am studying Entertainment Business and will hopefully get to produce and direct one day, but obviously still continue to act in horror!
2. What Scream Queen inspired you most?
When I started watching Horror Films, the original Halloween’s became my absolute favorite. So Jamie Lee Curtis is the most obvious and worthy choice and always will be my inspiration. But I also adore my dear Monica Keena and Scout Taylor-Compton. Love these ladies!!
3. What are the next couple projects you are working on?
I just shot a scene for Philadelphia based Film Company, Maniac Films newest project called OFFLINE. I also have 2 features coming up that we are hammering out some details before I release the names and roles that I will be participating in!
