On the terrible news of the day front, we received word that executives at Syfy have decided to cancel Being Human after this fourth season is finished in April!  Even though I prefer the UK series more, the U.S. version had its merits and was still a darn good genre show.   It’s too bad the series couldn’t have lasted for a couple of more seasons at least. With the news, the cast of Being Human have left a “Thank You” video for the fans which you can check out below.

From The Press Release

Hi, Friends – With the second half of “Being Human’s” 4th season set to kick off, our human-at-heart characters are about to embark on a journey full of twists, turns, and surprises that will culminate in a spectacular series finale on Syfy on Monday, April 7th.

Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast, and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons, and we sincerely thank them and the series’ production company, Muse Entertainment, for their hard work. They’ve saved the best for last with the final six episodes that revisit the story’s beginning, leading to a not-to-be-missed send-off for Aidan, Sally, Josh, and Nora.

“Being Human” stars Sam Witwer as vampire Aidan, Meaghan Rath as ghost (and witch) Sally, and Sam Huntington and Kristen Hager as werewolves Josh and Nora.
