Currently in development Ubisoft’s The Division takes place in apocalyptic New York after a disease that spreads by money on the infamous Black Friday causes the United States to collapse in five days has left survivors to fend for themselves.
Teams called Strategic Homeland Division or “The Division” have been sent in to assess the situation and “save what remains” of New York’s new landscape. Players will be able to traverse and scavenge throughout all of New York with friends online , as well they will have the choice of helping AI characters, customizing their character and fight other players. The Division is beautiful due to its constantly changing environments thanks to the Snowdrop engine.
The Division will be available fall of 2014 and will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
