Brighton’s Magnum Opus Tattoo and London By Sea are hijacking the first weekend in October to bring you “Sea Shepherd Warrior Weekend”.

This event will be bringing together some of the heaviest acts from the south coast in a full-on weekend of comedy, tattoos, punk, heavy metal, DJ’s and special guests.

The weekend kicks off Friday October 3rd with a comedy night at Nowhere Man in Upper North street with award winning comedians: Aidan Goatley, Phil Lucas, Zalem Saydullaev, and Sam Savage, compared by Rob Dumbrell.

Saturday 4th October is Sea Shepherd tattoo day at Magnum Opus where you can get inked with some Sea Shepherd inspired tattoo designs such as sharks, dolphins, and the Sea Shepherd Jolly Roger logo. There’ll also be special guests making an appearance during the day with lots of fun and antics guaranteed.

Saturday 4th of October is Sea Shepherd’s funk and soul night at the Brunswick in Hove where you can shake your thang with some of the Sea Shepherd volunteers to help raise funds and awareness for Sea Shepherd and help protect and conserve our ocean’s magnificent creatures.

The weekend’s main event will be held all day on Sunday 5th of October at The Green Door Store, Brighton. Music from the south coast’s heaviest acts promises one of the loudest and heaviest lineups Brighton has hosted in quite some time.

Magnum Opus proprietor Phil Kyle said, “Brighton’s punk and metal scene has some of the best emerging and established artists on the scene. Artists such as: Anacondas, Crypsis and War Wolf are playing to hungry audiences all over the UK and Europe with an appetite for heavy music and we’re really excited to bring all of these acts together in one event.”

Vic Wood Senior Volunteer for Sea Shepherd UK added, “We are very grateful for all the work that Phil Kyle and Magnum Opus have done in preparation for the upcoming warrior weekend, its going to be a great weekend and we look forward to meeting you all there. We will be at the comedy night, tattoo day and punk day with lots of information and merchandise if you would like to support our ongoing campaigns by buying a T-shirt or come and join us for a drink and a boogie on Saturday night.”

Tickets priced at £10 are available at Magnum Opus Tattoo, 33 Upper North Street, Brighton. More info at www.magnumopustattoo.com/warriorweekend.html
