‘Paranormal Activity 5’ Gets Renamed and Dated For March 2015; Scouts vs. Zombies Moved Up!

For those Paranormal Activity fans out there, word has come in today the fifth installment in the series has a new name and gets a release date. Look for the newly renamed Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension to get a March 13th, 2015 release date. Read on for more details.

Paranormal Activity 5 will be released on March 13, 2015 as Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension. The film was previously scheduled to open on Oct. 25, 2014.

The film is written by Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark. Jason Blum and Oren Peli produced with Gregory Plotkin directing.

It stars Katie Featherston and Tyler Craig.

Meanwhile in other Paramount news, Scouts vs. Zombies gets a new release date. Meanwhile, Scouts vs. Zombies has moved up several weeks and will be released wide on Feb. 20, 2015. The genre mash-up previously had the March 13, 2015 date that the latest Paranormal Activity sequel inherited.

Scouts vs. Zombies is directed by Christopher Landon, who wrote the last four Paranormal Activity movies and directed the last one, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. The film stars Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Halston Sage and Anchorman’s David Koechner as the scout leader.
