The Wolf Man image 18

You’ve probably been reading here on Horror Society that Universal Pictures is in the process of rebooting their classic monsters franchises. Universal is taking a cue from Marvel and plans on having all of their monster films coexist in the same universe, meaning like all of the Marvel films, they will all be connected in some way. The first out of the gate was Dracula Untold which was released this past Halloween season. Next will be a reboot of The Mummy. Now we find out that Universal is courting a writer for The Wolf Man reboot.

Rumors are that Aaron Guzikowski, who wrote Prisoners, will be tackling The Wolf Man writing duties. If you’ve seen Prisoners then you know how great that script was, so if Guzikowski takes on The Wolf Man, it might have a decent chance at being pretty good. We’ll be watching closely for more information on this.

Keep it bookmarked right here at Horror Society for all the latest on the Universal Monsters reboots!
