Modern day Vampires do exist. They may not resemble the romantic pop culture version, but they do have fangs, they do drink blood and they don’t like the daylight. And every year, these self-confessed sanguine vampires – those who drink the blood of others - descend on New Orleans to bear their fangs without recrimination. Vocativ tapped into a network of vampires and their blood donors via Facebook and recently went down to New Orleans to meet them – and witness a feed.
