  • 2010 – Jean Simmons, who played “Elizabeth Collins Stoddard” in the 1990 revival of the “Dark Shadows” series, passed away at the age of 80.
  • 2009 – Mikell Novack who wrote the screen play for the 1940 film “One Million B.C.,” passed away at the age of 91. The Hammer film “One Million Years B.C.” was also based on her screenplay.
  • 2008 – Tragically, Heath Ledger passed away at the age of 28. He starred in “The Order,” “The Brothers Grimm” and gave a chilling performance as ‘The Joker” in “The Dark Knight.”
  • 2007 – Liz Renay, who appeared in the films “The Corpse Grinders 2,” “Mark Of The Astro Zombies” and ” Blackenstein,” passed away at the age of 80.
  • 2005 – Thomas Wilde, who appeared in the film “Spacemaster X-7″ and the TV series “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” and “World of the Giants,” passed away at the age of 88.
  • 2003 – Audrey Metcalf, who appeared in “The Blob,” passed away at the age of 91
  • 1994 – Telly Savalas, best known for playing “Detective Theo Kojack.” He starred in “Horror Express” with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, “Lisa and the Devil” as “Ernst Stavro Blofeld” in the “James Bond” film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” and the “Living Doll” episode of “The Twilight Zone.” He passed away at 72..
  • 1966 – Herbert Marshall, who starred in “Gog” and co-starred in the original “Fly,” passed away at the age of 75.
