This past Sunday production wrapped on the upcoming horror-thriller, Night of The Babysitter. Written and directed by Louis Edward Doerge, Night of The Babysitter was shot on 16mm motion picture film to give the feature an authentic low budget horror movie vibe. Hopefully with this title currently in post-production we’ll get a look at that quality footage sooner than later!
Night of The Babysitter stars scream king Bill Oberst Jr. (Circus of The Dead, Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies), Anthony Cortese (Dead by Dawn, Dead by Dawn 2), Dora Madison Burge (“Dexter,” The Loft), Barrington Vaxter, Billy Singhas, Michael Xavier Westerfield, Anne Elizabeth Pettit, Kristy Hartsgrove, and W. Allen Anderson.
“Horror, crime, sex and hip hop are united in this rousing portrayal of a father and daughters’ unpardonable revenge. Night of the Babysitter is a crime thriller in the guise of a horror slasher, a tale centered around a father, simply known as FATHER, and his daughter, THE BABYSITTER, during their final acts of a year-long revenge against those Father blames for the death of his wife.”
Night of The Babysitter will feature a kick ass soundtrack with records from Future Death and NOM. Cinematography was performed by Jeff Wedding with producer David Pike. Writer/director Louis Edward Doerge’s last film, Dropping Evil, received distribution in 2012.
