Comic Book Thriller ‘Lucifer’ Gets Pilot Order at Fox

Lucifer

There’s word today on the comic book thriller Lucifer as Fox gives the project a pilot order. Tom Kapinos and Jerry Bruckheimer will produce with Len Wiseman (Sleepy Hollow) to direct the pilot episode.

After lengthy negotiations, Fox and Warner Bros. TV have completed a deal for a pilot order to comic book drama Lucifer.

Based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, the TV series centers on Lucifer who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals.
