This was sent to me by Jan Schulze Beckendorf, a director from Germany who just completed four music videos for the Los Angeles based artist, Umberto. Beckendorf specializes in recreating the atmosphere of early 1980s, independent slasher flicks and mixing them with European flare. The music video for Umberto’s Carla Moran can be found below, and it is described as a homage to films such as Boardinghouse (1982) and Sledgehammer (1983).
