• 1999 – Kirk Alyn, best known for portraying “Superman” in the 1948 serials and in “Atom Man vs. Superman”, he also appeared in “Scalps.” He passed away at the age of 88.
• 1951 – Val Lewton, legendary writer and producer of such films as “Cat People”, “I Walked With A Zombie”, “The Leopard Man”, “The Seventh Victim”, “The Curse of the Cat People”, “The Body Snatcher”, “Isle of the Dead”, “Bedlam”, and more. He passed away at the young age of 46.
