I was going to say that “Haunting: Australia” is the Australian version of “Ghost Hunters,” but really it’s six of the best ghost hunters internationally teaming up to investigate paranormal instances in Australia. Now, I know what you’re thinking because I’m thinking it, too. Aren’t we all a little tired of these SyFy ghost hunting shows that fail time and time again to deliver actual evidence of ghosts? Well, I know I’m going to tune in for at least the first episode of “Haunting: Australia” because I’d love to see reportedly haunted locations in a foreign country of such beauty!
The team members here are also a little more diverse than usual. The rag-tag group consists of a reality TV veteran, an exorcist, a blogger, a celebrity psychic and more. The “Haunting: Australia” troop includes:
- Robb Demarest – lead investigator of “Ghost Hunters: International”
- Ian Lawman – one of the UK’s most respected exorcists
- Gaurav Tiwari – founder of the Indian Paranormal Society
- Ray Jorden – radio host of show “Haunted 911”
- Rayleen Kable – well-known Australian celebrity psychic
- Allen Tiller – paranormal blogger and founder of SA Paranormal
Don’t forget to check out “Haunting: Australia” when it begins its nine episode season beginning March 24th at 10:00PM only on SyFy!

Ya gotta stick around for the first 3….Its kinda a slow start =) -Robb
hey, robb! thanks for reading! looking forward to checking it out next week.
Like the investigating team but you gotta lose the hokey commentator. He makes it sound like a 50’s radio show. The investigators comments will suffice. Also, stop the sound effects while investigating. It makes it difficult to tell what is real and what is effects. Eventually no one will believe any of it is real. In episode 2 Ian is touched and the sound of an electrical shock is played. Made it sound like the he was shocked and that gives viewing the impression that the show is trying to fake people out.
