  • 2007 – Luke Tillman, who did special effects for the shows “Lidsville” and “The Bugaloos,” passed away at the age of 86.
  • 2002 – John Agar, passed away at the age of 81. His many film credits include “Revenge Of The Creature,” “Tarantula,” “Invisible Invaders” and in two rare instances where he played the villains, “The Brain From Planet Arous” and “The Hand Of Death.” He was also married to Shirley Temple.
  • 2001 – Beatrice Straight, who co-starred in the films “Poltergeist” and the TV movies “The Dain Curse” and “Wes Craven’s Chiller,” passed away at the age of 86.
  • 1983 – Kenyon Hopkins who composed many film and TV scores, passed away at the age of 71. He is best known to horror fans for his collaborations with producer Creed Taylor entitled “Shock” and “Panic, Son of Shock.”
  • 1972 – Victor Wong who portrayed “Charlie the Cook” in both “King Kong” and “Son of Kong” passed away on at the age of 65.
