  • 1996 – Jon Pertwee who played Doctor Who # 3 and appeared in the films “The House That Dripped Blood” and “Carry On Screaming,” passed away at the age of 76.
  • 1989 – Anton Diffring who starred as “Dr. Frankenstein” in the unsold Hammer pilot “Tales of Frankenstein,” passed away at the age of 70. He also starred in the films “The Man Who Could Cheat Death” and “Circus of Horrors.”
  • 1989 – One of the original “Prime Time Players” on “Saturday Night Live,” Gilda Radner, passed away at the age of 42. She starred with her husband Gene Wilder in the movie “Haunted Honeymoon” (her last film).
